Job Summary:

The Security Guard (Corporate Officer) is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients in various corporate settings. This role involves monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to security management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the assigned corporate premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.

  • Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, responding promptly to alerts and incidents.

  • Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security and safety measures.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, employees, and visitors, addressing their inquiries and concerns professionally.

  • Document and report any suspicious activities, incidents, or security breaches in a timely manner.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of security protocols and emergency response plans.

  • Conduct access control procedures, ensuring that only authorized personnel enter the premises.

  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance security knowledge and skills.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing Good Guard Security positively.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a security guard or in a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.

  • Strong understanding of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and relevant laws.

  • Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

  • Proficient in the use of surveillance equipment and security technology.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Must possess a valid security guard license and be willing to undergo background checks.

  • Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
