Position Overview
The Senior Security Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the security needs of our clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality security services while building and maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of security operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of security professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as the primary point of contact for all security-related inquiries and concerns.
Account Oversight: Manage a portfolio of security accounts, ensuring all services are delivered effectively and in accordance with client expectations and contractual obligations.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs, develop tailored security plans, and recommend appropriate solutions to enhance their security posture.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support a team of security professionals, providing guidance and training to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of security personnel and services, conducting regular assessments and implementing improvements as necessary.
Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of budgets for security accounts, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions to clients.
Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on account performance, security incidents, and service improvements to both clients and internal stakeholders.
Compliance: Ensure all security operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Business Development: Identify opportunities for account growth and expansion, collaborating with the sales team to pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management or account management, preferably in the security industry.
Strong understanding of security operations, risk management, and compliance standards.
Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and security management software.
Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and oversee security operations.
